Corrected Work Reminder

Just a reminder about homework corrections.

Students may correct work that is below a 70% and return the work to me within one week. They will get the average of the two grades.

Tests and quizzes may be corrected, but grades will NOT be adjusted.

Thank you in advance for helping your child correct work at home.

Red Ribbon Week October 22nd - 26th

Red Ribbon Week was derived from the memory of a drug enforcement agent who lost his life while attempting to decrease illegal growing and selling of drugs. While his family awaited news of his whereabouts, they displayed or wore a red ribbon to offer hope for his safe return. Although he died in the line of duty, we continue to use the Red Ribbon symbol in October as a reminder of his important mission. We invite you to join in Red Ribbon Week activities by participating in the following "theme days".

Monday: Wear sweats - "No Drugs, No Alcohol. . . No Sweat"

Tuesday: Wear a necktie - "Don't Let Drugs "Tie" You Up"

Wednesday: Wear crazy socks - "Sock It To Drugs"

Thursday: Wear pink - "Drugs Stink

Friday: Wear something of your favorite sports team - "Team Up Against Drugs"
